Transit Station

In this project I was challenged to design a transit station to accommodate local bus routes, pedestrians, and Amtrak standards. The design accomplished this by employing two geometric languages. The structure that provided the most shelter and shade consisted of a pattern of rhombuses rotated to align itself with the movement of the train. Cube like structures aligned with the street facilitated other program requirements such as an ADA approved bathroom, seating, and bicycle storage.
