Underwood Talmage Artist Studios

This project is centered around redesigning a four story industrial space into an event space with new artist studios in the heart of Dayton. As a building on the National Registry of Historic Buildings, the project is seeking Federal Tax credits to preserve and restore many of the original facades, finishes, and details of the existing building. The gallery and event space on the first floor opens up for both resident and visiting artists to host artist exhibitions. Historical rooms on the second, third, and fourth floor are tailored to preserve existing offices while fostering the amenities and spaces for new artists to create in.
